A short presentation of our teachers in the project

Hello everybody!
My name is Kåre and I teach English at our small school. I have been working as a teacher for more than a century a quarter of a century (so I mostly speak Old English).
I have sixty per cent of my work at this school and forty per cent (or two days a week) at an even smaller school. – It is in an open prison on a small island situated in a fjord some twenty-five minutes from Bergen by train plus the boat that takes us out to the island.
This combination of work at two schools has been going on for twenty-one years, and I really enjoy it, because of the variety it gives me with different types of students, classes and colleagues etc.
Walking is actually an important part of my lifestyle. I know it sounds extremely exciting and action-packed but to me it’s more like a type of meditation. As I walk my daily ten kilometres my mind also rambles in useful directions, and sometimes ideas pop up and solutions to problems offer themselves to my surprised self. Another high risk activity I love is reading, and I have loads of books on my kindle. In addition I suffer slightly from “footballitis”, though I have never seen Barcelona live.

Hopefully we are a lot of people who will enjoy working with each other in this project. I am looking forward to meeting you!

Hi folks!
My name is Anne Mette and I teach health and social care. I like hiking, horseback riding and fishing. In the winther I like to ski, both alpine skiing and cross country skiing.
